Collecting full cancels stamps is very popular in many countries. Often, even cheap stamps with such stamps are sought after and have nice prices. Is it similar with stamps in the USA?
People like me who collect stamps on which one can ID the place of cancel think the SOTN's you are asking about are the Holy Grails of our collections, but there are few of us and many U.S. SOTN's so I've not noticed any big jumps in value for them if they are on common stamps.
