Hello all Stamp Masters,
Here is a stamp from South Australia 2 Shilling.
It has a red star watermark.
My Question: Does the watermark raise the value at all?

It looks like a standard watermark to me. What makes you think it is special? You'll have to verify the perforations to find the exact stamp in Scotts.

Because the paper density is lower were the wmk is.The ink just bleeds through the paper faster at that spot.Giving an illusion of the red wmk.
