This February 5, 2020 2.30 lev stamp of Bulgaria is the heart piece/single stamp from a souvenir sheet commemorating the birth centenary of children's poet/writer Leda Mileva (1920-2013). On the same day, Bulgaria issued an identically-designed 2.30 lev sheet stamp lacking the single diamond-shaped perforations/die cuts at the top and bottom.

Maglena Konstantinova, who had previously illustrated Mileva's Little Snow-white Bunny (2012), designed the stamp.

On June 6, 1974 the USA issued a set of eight 10c stamps commemorating the centenary of the Universal Postal Union. Each of these stamps features a classic work of art having to do with letter writing. The stamps were issued together in a sheet of 32 (8 x 4) arranged so that se-tenant strips or blocks of 8 (4 x 2) were created.

One of these stamps (Sc #1530) features a detail of Raphael's 1509 painting School of Athens showing Michelangelo writing with a truncated quill pen.
