Adding a couple page that I like - Hidalgo heads 1884-1885 (one is actually an official stamp - but I left him in there. Missing some of the larger denominations - hopefully with time and patience I can obtain a few of those.) Also Coat of Arms and independence issues.

Also - Just in case littleriverphil sees this - I also have another color changeling I believe. Would I use the same peroxide method on that one - seems like the brown is really dark - I believe that this stamp only comes in orange. I really thought this has to be an orange and brown stamp!

Mrita75, yes the same technique will work. You can vary the amount of peroxide you use and vary exposure time depending on extent of sulfurization.

Looks like it. That's kinda the "catch-22" of atmospheric color changlings, sometime they're good looking! Lots of good looking stamps on these pages.

Like a lot of folks here, I read every post, every day.

Thanks Littleriverphil.

Well the stamps is a penny stamp - so I took the plunge and check out the after results :). Not 100% gone the brown - but pretty close, it definitely works. no issues with the cancel!

It really is quite a transformation, always surprises me that something so simple would have such results. Looks much better.
