I thought I would share a good link that provides nice detail (with dates) of Mexican Revenue stamps. I have so many of these stamps that it can be overwhelming, not to mention the regional and post mark nuances.

Thank you.

I had been trying to identify my oldest piece - and now I believe it is this first series portrait of Miguel Hidalgo y costilla 1874-1875. This is an over printed Revenue document. 3c #2A

I have been able to identify a large portion of my revenues and stamps from MX (pre-1915). The attached is a documentos "stamp" that is not a coat of arms stamp. it is from 1903-1904 - seems to be Orange and Navy in color - I cannot find it anywhere. I appreciate any assistance. Thank you.

You might be able to find Richard B Stevens book "The Revenue stamps of Mexico" online, not sure the cost but I'd suspect it's reasonable.
