Diogenes and the Sun

(500th Birth Anniversary of Raphael, 1983)
A little riddle from me too! It seems rare that Diogenes appears on stamp, but I find another Diogenes stamp besides the one above. Who Can post it or name it?

For many years definitives of Argentina carried the same motif: a farmer at sunset, preparing to go home. Left 1911, right 1949. Note 1/2c and 25c.

(Idebee, Details of the "School of Athens" have surely appeared elsewhere, but I know of only the Ajman stamp. Do you have another one?)

Hi, 22crows, it's a nice Diogenes stamp, which I did not expect! I mean another one, but yours is better. The reason I find it interesting to search for him is that Diogenes seems not very popular with the stamp designers, and seldom chosen for philosopher stamps. And even for Raphael stamps, he will often be omitted. What I found is this one:

It's a little like an optical illusion. Diogenes is easily neglected if not looking carefully. Plato and Aristotle are surely more popular than him!

In much of Greenland the sun doesn't rise above the horizon for several months of the year, so its appearance in spring is always celebrated. The stamp of 2010 celebrates the sun with a painting by Miki Jacobsen, (1965*).
