I have this pair of South African stamps where the the portraits of George V are reversed from one another. Are they supposed to be this way or is this an error. Thanks

They are more common without the gutter between them, identified as SG 5a.


They're both nice. Not wildly valuable, but nice.

IIRC they are from sheets designed for booklets. Normally they would be cut down into the booklet panes, but collectors could purchase the sheets before they were broken down.
