Watermark On This Stamp?

I want to see a double line watermark on the 50 c postage due. I don't expect a higher CV stamp.

Perforations are 12 so here is a photo of the front and one of the back with the stamp in watermark fluid. I don't see it...

Thank you for any help. Just working through a backlog of attempting to identify some postage dues.

On the following copy of your image showing the stamp in fluid I marked in red around what looks to me to be an area of a watermark. Double U I think. not very distinct so I might be wrong...

Also possibly on the right margin just above the cancel, partly under the hinge.

Possibly, but that is very difficult to be sure of from a scan.

Yeah, wkusau is right, to get a good handle on what is in the area revcollector pointed out, the hinge should be soaked off.

I ran it through retroreveal in case that would help. No decisive transform that I saw, but this is among the more suggestive.
