I just came across a copy of:

United States Match and Medicine Stamps
by Christopher West

I was wondering if there was any revised edition and/or other recommended books on the topic?

thanks

"Christopher West" was actually a pen name used by Elliott Perry. The book is probably still the best overall source available. Other recommended books would be the Boston Revenue Book and a copy of the auction catalog for Morton Dean Joyce's M&M collection. There are also books on the history of the firms that issued the stamps, and a census of the scarcer stamps.

West also did The Private Die Match Stamps. Henry Holcombe did The Private Die Medicine Stamps. And of course, there is the Boston Book.
