People tend to buy older postcards for different reasons. It might be an interest in one town or area. It might be the publisher. It might be about Life at that time. Or humour. Or the message on the card. Enthusiasts for one of these special areas of interest will overlook some small flaws but a very damaged card is not going to sell. I have around 225 Irish postcards from the period 1900-1922. My interest is the postmark and increasingly the message on the card. They are the text messages and twitter of a century ago. I picked up over 30 on Saturday. They were selling at 1 euro each but I got them for 28 euros. They are not exactly perfect cards but they are ok for me. Unfortunately the card you show is probably too damaged.
