Heheh, my pages for that Finland set have places for just under 100 stamps, so close to four times as many. I do have a few empty holes though...

TIME TO CALL IT QUITS ------I AM DONE HERE .

Time to spend more effort expanding my Worldwide Collection .Have good success picking up good trades in the Stock Market which helps to buy better lots at stamp auctions.

This page will soon hit 20,000 views ,so good time to pull the plug here .

This page below is one of my favorites ,it was the set one of my boyhood friends never had ,he was so proud of his Italy collection ,he helped me out a lot . He was a retired machinist who helped me get my first job in a factory where he worked for 25 years .

Excellent - always good to have a personal element. I don't collect FDCs anymore, but I've kept the ones my old man bought and posted to me in his lunchtimes fifty-odd years ago.

Good to see this chapter still is getting lots of views .Got to rethink this .

GeoffHa ---- I think all of us have a personal element to the stamps we have, which would make for a interesting story .

Transferring more of my collection to Steiner Pages got about 10% into white binders. Cleaning out one bookselve of stock/inventory binders and hoping by the end of 2023 that the whole bookcase will be Steiner Pages in white binders .

floortrader,

If I had to pick my favorite topic/thread from SCF, this one would be it.
Thank you for sharing these lovely pages from your collection.

Thanks John . Trying to recreate those wonderful collections that every kid wanted back in the 1950's .It was a time when numbers matter ,you had 200 French stamps or 50 Congo or a number from a certain country .Even the Stamp Companies sold 50 Argentina stamps for $1.00 or 200 Argentina for $10.00 then the 1,000 Argentina for $75.00 .

It was a time when you could value your collection by the numbers you had , then having a complete set was a further premium.Them a full page of stamps puts you into the advance group .

Some times you find nicer album pages than the current Scott Specialized or the present Steiner Pages ,here is a sample of a page that I cut down to fit my three ring binders and today added more stamps to it .

Floortrader, a real impressive run of seeing your collection. Thanks for showing.

Impressive for not just its completeness of sets, and pages, etc., but also the time it took to carefully mount.

Well, I may not ever get to your degree of completion but, if I bid in some of the areas shown, there will be one less competitor.
