Yes I think its pl59 as pointed out @scotzm.... on the imprimatur there is a mark on the Queen's cheek. Was curious about that. As I understand it, it may have been an ink remnant that would not have shown on all printings...

I thought this one might be relatively easy, baring the MX mark through the left check letter... I thought originally it was pl33, but I dont see the SE corner diagonal extension. Maybe pl42?? There is a tiny mark in the top of NE cross.

Wow! A beautiful London numeral 11, Maltese Cross.

Issued April Fool's day 1843 (from proof book)

Numbers 3 and 11 are "fairly scarce"

Number 11, is genuine, shewing grubby cross at top, and a "blob" above the 11

The Numerals are not known for what usage, either monitoring clerk's works,
or differing departments of the Inland Office.

The postmark helps rule out the earlier plates, as they were withdrawn before the postmark was brought into use.

I'd say it's a plate 29.

pl29 lists HGSW,SE and extended frame lines bXdX - I dont see any of that ?!? I looked at pl43 but that doesnt seem right either. Thinking the deformity in the " I " was caused by the cancel - but "A" looks off too. Still struggling here!

Hummm. I did not see list in the SG QV Specialised catalog of Stamps missing for the Imprimatur . But, I did not see that the sheet itself was missing. It does say that in my Statham information. So now I dont know why this is listed in my Plating set?. EDIT: I got plates 22 & 27 mixed up. I see plate 22 as missing not plate 27

@NSK - I think I misinterpreted your post. I thought you meant plate 27 was a missing imprimatur. But, maybe you mean RJ is from another missing imprimatur ?
