Given what we have to work with, I'd be happy to say plate 29.

Thanks Bobby. One more AL, then on to maybe some that aren't so cut up - I hope! Trying to get through a lot of MX's. Also, hopefully one day ill get around re-calibrating the color on the scanner. Between the monitor & scanning, color is tricky.

Plate 24, 25 or 26? I like the almost brk in WNW star & SE dot in 24. 25 has a nice mark in frame of O in One. But 26 looks good too !! I think 24.

Agreed Stamps4Life, plate 24

I won't be as available to help with these for the forseeable future. I've started writing my next book and this will be taking up a great deal of my time.

You seem to be quite competent with these now!

Im thinking Plate 75. The frame weakness on both W & E seem to match well I think and the plate spot below the NW star. Yes? UBS(1) ?

It was relatively easy, S4L
There exists no such design, under 18, had to be a 118

So that particular barred cancel was only used in Essex? Trying to figure out how you knew Essex and not Cumberland for example? I know nothing re: these cancels. tks.

I just match the impression with known strikes in the database..
As far as I know, there is no Postmark for Cumberland.

Brentwood Essex
