Here's what I shared with other WSP show organizers, APS & ASDA:
So far, I've been very impressed with the show and the hotel and their preparations and risk mitigation: temp checks at door, one-way system, mandatory face masks (with freebies for those who forgot), hand cleaning stations, booths & chairs spread out, social distancing reminders, etc
I can't compare the attendance with previous years as this is my first time here, but I've been happy with the customers I've had: serious collectors/exhibitors who have spent much higher amounts compared with most of my shows' average transaction amount.
Most importantly I haven't heard any complaints from dealers or collectors about the "rules" – most are happy to attend a show after a 5 1/2 month gap.
This should be used an an example of how WSP shows can work in the current environment.
