A sheet of two sets about "Israel's National Heritage – Landmarks" was issued by Israel on February 11, 2014. The sheet margin shows detail from ancient mosaic from Tiberias. This particular detail shows allegory of the month of Tishre, the first month of the Hebrew calendar:

Here are two mosaic stamps issued by Israel on June 25, 1950 in a first Israeli airmail set shows birds in ancient Jewish art found in archaeological excavations:

The Ishtar Gate was the eighth gate to the inner city of Babylon. It was constructed circa 575 BCE by order of King Nebuchadnezzar II.
