Picked up these puppies for about 50 cents a piece.

Was trying to research them but couldn't find much.

Came across this website

Not much information there but large number of these bogus issues are shown.

From what I understood, most of these were done in Britain by a fella named Clive Feigenbaum, but also other printer were involved in other parts of Europe.

None were actually printed in Russia.

The number and variety of these make me want to start a separate collection.

Can someone point me to a more informative resource?

An interesting fella, but information is quite limited. I'm sure many of us had come across his creations. I guess due to poor relationship between Moscow and London, British and US authorities closed their eyes on him producing and selling illegal stamps from Russian Republics.
