A while ago, I picked up a UN collection for a song and just now unpacked all the albums. It has mint stamps, plate blocks, FDCs, etc. from all of the offices 1947-1986 pretty complete. This stuff is in older albums which are falling apart. None of this is worth much so I don't want to lay out a lot of money, but does anyone know a cost effective solution for reassembling the material, either in preprinted albums or do-it-yourself pages?
I suspect that the short answer is that any storage solution will cost more than the stamps, taking account of paper, printing and mounts. With that in mind, why not use quadrille or other blank pages and make your own album, using hinges and your calligraphy skills? 500 quadrille album leaves cost me around £60 here, so I presume you can pick up something similar in the US.
