Does anyone know the issue date in 1949 for Germany/
Russian zone, Scott 10NB6-10NB10, the Goethe semi-postal issue? Thanks in advance!

Well, I found it.July 20, 1949. Does anyone know the approximate value of a cacheted first day cover of this set?

Michel Deutschland-Spezial catalog lists a complete set FDC at 60 euros, so it would be some percentage of that value. It would probably be best to search the eBay in Germany site to get an idea of what sellers there are asking, and whether collectors are buying, to give you a better idea of value.

Oh yes, one more detail. If you are searching sale prices outside of the USA, you will need Michel cat. numbers. They are Germany, Soviet Zone #s 234-8.
