Found this cool souvenir sheet today. It is fully gummed so it is part of the initial printing.

Here is a picture of the actual truck at the White House:

Here is an article someone wrote all about the truck:

Technically, this falls into the realm of souvenir cards, even though it wasn't issued on card stock. We have all the varieties cataloged here: http://souvenircards.org/gallery/FPS/fps.html

The link to the blogpost in the first post of this thread draws entirely from James H. Bruns' definitive book:

To weave some additional fabric about the Philatelic Truck ... The Truck also sold this souvenir cover which visitors could mail. Mint copies are common, but mailed copies are quite desirable. This one is signed by Truck employee Ralph Davis and mailed from Indianola, Iowa:

A copy of the souvenir sheet can often be found inside these souvenir covers, but in this case, it has the folded order sheet for the Philatelic Sales Divsion:

Bruns also describes three booklets sold on the Truck listing U.S. postage stamps:
The hardback for 75 cents, covering stamps issued through 1936, copyright 1937:

The paperback of the same for 25 cents:

And last, Bruns describes 3 variants of an uncommon "Junior Edition" which sold for 10 cents (Bruns, page 54). The 1938 "Junior Edition" paperback:

The second variant, identical to the first, but containing this loose page 64/65:

And the third variant, the 1939 "Junior Edition" paperback with a slight title change and a few extra pages:

Yes, that card is part of a set of 4, sold mint or FDC'd. Here is the listing from the May-June, 1986 Philatelic Catalog, and the 4 cards:

Fantastic thread and thank you all. I was familiar with the Philatelic Truck but had no idea about so much of the back story. Thanks

I'll just tack this on here since it's relevant. Some years ago I fished this cover out of a bargain bin. Autographed by Ralph Davis and franked with an early postage meter. There is a cover very much like this one illustrated in the Philatelic Truck book.

I have this badly damaged Postal Truck sheet inscribed by the Chicago Philatelic Society for the 1939 RAJPEEPLA, whatever that was.
I also have a regular sheet (in good condition). Both are ungummed and slightly different variations of blue, so I think I can assume they might be from the second and third printings of the sheet.
