Questions About 1914 Special Delivery Cover

I have several questions about this cover if I may ask for some help.
How do you tell the difference between an #6 and an E8 without taking the stamp of the cover?
I think that the 2 cent stamp is a booklet
stamp 425 is that correct?
How common is it to have an error in the date on the reverse of the envelope. The one RPO stamp indicates the year as 1913 while other date stamps say 1914.

#425 issued date = 9/5/1914

Incorrect dates are not uncommon.

Your stamp is perf 10, I agree a booklet single of 425a, eku in December 1913 - thus HAS to be from a booklet. Sheet not released until late 1914, as noted above.

Special delivery is almost 100% to be E8. Stocks of E6 would have long exhausted by 1914. I would not recommend lifting it to find out.

Thanks for the information. One more question, why are so many of the special delivery from that era postmarked through an RPO?
