I have been buying Porto-Server covers off eBay and found this! Addressed to the big man himself, George Linn!

Morning Ecostic and all,

What is the history of Porto-Server and its covers? Is there a publication listing all of the designs they produced? Can others show more examples?

I honestly don't know anything about them. I tried searching around on google for them and the "Tarrson Company" which appears on some of the copyright labels, but found nothing. Only thing that comes up is the handful of covers for sale online.

I'm going to scan all of my covers and make a new thread asking people to post any that they have.

The Porto-Server covers are listed in "United States Patriotic Envelopes of World War ll" by Lawrence Sherman and published by James Lee.
