Just received ten Mayflower press sheets in large cardboard envelope with inner cardboard liner. Unfortunately, the outer envelope and some of the inner cardboard were water soaked and the outer one almost dripping wet when received. The stamps were not wet, but very slightly damp. Only one had slight edge damage, but I intend to donate most of them as postage for a non-profit organization where my daughter works. Some of these will not be used for two months. The back of the sheets seemed to be slightly bulging, but not separating from the stamps. Anyone have experience as to whether the adhesive will be affected in that time or if the one sheet I keep for my collection will last? If you think they will stay viable I will keep them, otherwise I will go after full replacement or refund for most of them. The package was stamped "received in damaged condition".

Thank you for any advice.

Return them. It won't cost you anything (except time).
