Scans of a cover from India during WW2 (1945-04-25) I normally can find info re the senders of items like this but (surprisingly because of his rank) have not found anything about Lt. Col C Sanford. Does anyone know anything about him.

Thank you for that Peter. I suppose that it could be the same person the rank and dates are possible and he did go to India in 1935 but there is no mention of him going to India in 1945.

Perhaps someone else will know something a bit more concrete or perhaps it will remain a mystery.
