Perhaps it's that Halloween is coming up
And I'm trying to get into the spirit.
looking at some penny reds today I came across a Erie sight,
To my surprise this one seem to stare back!
With her blank gaze and pale complexion
Like a apportion in a scooby doo cartoon disguised as a painting
On the wall

(I know it's just the way the cancellation hit and some damage)
I just found it Fun

I thought it would be fun to try to find out the plate #
It came from
It's my first time trying to plate a penny star
So I'm definitely not 100% sure
It's beat up and nothing really special
But I appreciate my "ghost queen"
I thought once I thought I had a good enough guess
I'd ask on Halloween
Seemed fitting
I think she's a C6 plate 8
Now I could be wrong I'm learning
I went with the check letters in the bottom
And did my best with the star
using the Nissen example
Please feel free to correct me
I only gave myself from the time I posted till Halloween
To do my best before I had to ask and know

...says you.

Opinion:
New Discovery Postmark (suggest very scarce)
Bath Somerset (my country)
3-2-2-3 Barred "53" with double ring "BATH" on top
CDS (Circular date stamp)
Code at bottom = "O" (Not seen before)

Estimated Usage 7th November 1856 to 19th December 1856 (Just 42 days)

Apologies
I was referring to the condition
The opinion you provided are things I haven't looked I'm to But good to know
I believe I have other postmarks of the same appearance
My start was to try to plate it using the information I could find
The stamp it self is prized by me

That's nice to hear, all stamps should be respected.

This is one of the other ones I enjoy with a 53
I thought she had a undead look to her
May seem silly but I thought it fun to look at them
That way
seeing I found them around Halloween
I didn't try to plate this one yet

Your double ring Queen Pmk tends to identify the Postmark.
(given the available information from the impression)

Your second "53" could be any number of Postal hammers,
certainly BATH Somerset, but without further information, degrades it to "common"

Yes this is a plate 8 stamp.

The RF stamp is a plate 46 I'd say.

Clarification:
"common" refers to the Pmk, not the stamp.

Sorry about the double post
My last message needs clarification
I didn't think to look up the postmark
I just really liked how it struck the stamp

I'm not knowledgeable enough to agree
And not foolish enough to disagree on the RF being
From plate 46
from the example I found on a site
The F looks like it tilts slightly down From the period
And on my RF it appears to tilt up
