A Philatelic firm looked at these and are pretty sure they are fraudulent . These came out of a 1875 Scott album probably before a subsequent 1888 Scott album was engaged with. I will submit them for expertization but am curious as to when fakes first appeared as with some confederates.

None of those stamps are Missionaries. Philatelic firm? We will have to talk about that. Send in for certification? Please no.
The top row are called "Numerals" and often forgeries. Discussion needed.
Missionary stamp example.

Just realized this is a welcome to the forum post. Welcome
The discussion should be continued in another forum.

I also am not taking the "true" missionary position.

They do not look authentic. I'll contact another member on here who is a Hawaii expert, but they look like they were printed on regular copy paper last week.

The fact the the second frame corners connect is a quick sign of a fake. There are many out there printed and sold as fake at the time, but after the album passes hands a few times the new owner does not know.

A side note, the Numerals are from a 1875 Scott international which was in same family, untouched for 135 years. Collection continued with Scott 1888 and 1905 albums.

Of course it was touched. Stamps were added throughout the years both fake and real. No?

In the early albums, there was no way to add pages when filled up to the publication date. The US section had 2 pages.
