Hello all,
I have been the owner of a great aunt's collection for about 25 years. We are at a point in life that requires us to downsize. So, it's time to find a new home for 16 books full of stamps . I need help! If there is someone in my area that would spend a bit of time with me, I would greatly appreciate it. We have no expectation of making a fortune from this collection. It's more important that an appreciative new owner will be found. I live in New Berlin, NY. Can anyone help me?

You will need 50 posts before we can get cozy. A picture of the albums would be a good start. Then a scan of the oldest stamps of say US. Great Britain, China etc.

Welcome.
Agreed, the first step is to communicate the scope of the collection by posting some representative images. This will allow others here to advise you on how best to disposition the collection.
