Neither Netto or Scott lists different colours for the 6 heller newspaper stamp P16.

Any thoughts? I can't see the one on the left as being a colour changeling....

You can't truly make a positive identification of color shades for used stamps this old. Basically, "You don't know where it's been" before it got to you. It may just be lighting, but the left stamp looks to have bright white paper (which is not usual) and could have been put in a bleach bath at one time.

One more thing to think of...bleach....just because I've never let bleach near my stamps doesn't mean someone else hasn't....
