Help Needed With Question Please

Hi all, with the pandemic I was hoping an expert could let me know if I have stamps of value on hand.

I have one complete sheet of stamps that my grandfather took from a burnt out P.O. in Okinawa during the war.

They were given to me as a child 50 yrs ago.

The best I can tell you is they are whole and brown colored (not discolored).

Even a ball park guess would help.

The issue is they're in hard to reach storage. I'm trying to get any idea if it's worth digging them out.

Any remote idea of the value of similar items in good condition would help me to decide.

Without a picture, there's not much point in guessing. If someone had a sheet of 1940s definitive stamps with a low face value from most countries, they'd be worth very little, however.

Maybe this could help.

Search for e.g. "1930-1945" and Color "brown".

But of course all depends on the quality of the sheet (gum, perforation, folded or not, stains ...).

Its greatest value would probably be as a piece of family history, like the ashtray that my uncle brought home from the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten in Munich, where he served during the occupation of Germany right after the war.
