Value lies with the individual collector.
Australia exists with a catalogue prices of early cut squares.

Normally they would not be thought of as having any real value. I suppose there might be some collectors who have an interest, but I would expect most collectors to figure the cut to shape examples for zero.

CTS go for 2-10% of catalog depending on value except for common items which are frequently used in mixtures as no one seems to want responsibility for disposing of them.
