Hello Community,

I recently inherited this group of old postcards with what appear to be rare stamps affixed. The internet is crazy so I'm seeing valuations from $5 to $10,000. Any help narrowing that range would be greatly appreciated. I would also love to learn about these items, so any details about the items would also be greatly appreciated.

Best,
Horace

Welcome.
Your US stamps were the workhorses of the era with literally hundreds of millions (or even billions) produced over many years.
Due to the long production run, there were a number of running changes made to the stamp perforations over time and these are now assigned different catalog numbers. The overwhelming majority of stamp with this design are worth only pennies; but collectors sometimes enjoy hunting for the less common varieties. You can learn more about your stamps here

To add to what Don stated the stamps themselvesare common.

There is sometimes a little more value depending on the content of the postcard.
