I believe it to be at least a 594. 11x11 perfs. Not flat plate because there is no ink on the reverse. As far as 596 that's another matter that has to do with the image size on the stamp. The only problem I have is that the color seems wrong. Thanks.

Note that 594 and 596 have the numeral in ovals at the bottom corners. Yours does not.

Honestly no. I'd have to go consult my catalogue. Those Washington's are not my forte. I just see a lot of folks asking about them. I have learned quite a bit tho with regards to them. Or at least the 594-596.

Given the sheer number of "i fOuNd a rArE sTaMp tHaT iS wOrTh 87 mIlLyUn dOlLaRz!!!!" posts we see around here, I can see why it garnered the reaction it did.

Also, why is this posted in the EFO forum?

I wasn't trolling anyone. I was simply trying to make a joke in this crowd which I now see is futile. Sounds like the smell of old spice and regret around here. I actually did post a legitimate question about a penny red. But I'm sure it will be nit picked at well. Ta ta
