I am trying to find Scott numbers for the attached and have looked in France, US and GB but do not find them listing anywhere. Can someone please tell where I am going wrong?

They're not "Allied Military" - there was no such thing. France 1944, printed in US.

Paul - Those stamps are listed in Scott as France 475-76H and 523A-J.

Up until a few years ago they were listed as AMG France 2N1-20. Moved to the general issues. They were printed with the idea of an AMG, but they gave France and de Gaulle formed a government.

Scott channeling Roosevelt's long-running antagonism towards de Gaulle. Roosevelt was more comfortable dealing with, first, Vichy, then Giraud.
