Showgard 908 if you can find them.
Start with the non pointy version until you get used to working with stamps. Once you are comfortable and do it without thinking, move to 902 or 908.
Problem with 908s are they seem to have disappeared. Some $%^*(*&^%$%^&* lawyer probably told the company to stop making them in case there was a lawsuit.
I had to buy a gold plated 908 a few years ago because I couldn't find anything else. Stamp store had like 3 pairs left and that was it. Said he wasn't able to order them anymore.
The Showgard website no longer lists them either. |

If tweezers are for tweezing are tongs for tonging?
Tweezing (Verb) To pluck, remove or handle with tweezers.
Tonging (Verb) The action of seizing, grabbing, holding or manipulating a given object with tongs. |

Interesting how tong users blame the tool and not the user of the tool.
If I damage something it is because of my own inappropriate or misuse and not my tool. |

Over the years, I've damaged stamps through hinge removal, soaking, and other procedures...but never as a result of use of my 908 tongs. |

Longtime user of Showgard 902 tongs, have never had an incident with them (knocks on wood) and hopefully never will. |
