I'm wondering if anyone knows any information about sending in inauguration covers for a commemorative postmark. I've been periodically checking the Postal Bulletin and searching online and can't find anything for this year. With 10 days to go before the ceremony, I'm a bit surprised there isn't anything available yet.
Also, what size envelope do people usually make collectible covers with? Is there any sort of standard?
I am very interested in what people respond with for cover size. I have used 5"x7" and standard business sized envelopes fo ray custom covers. My philosophy is to follow your own rules and there is no official standard for these sort of things.
They have since posted instructions for inauguration covers at Linns. They are on Virtual Stamp Club also. I guess so far they have just been sent to registered cover servicers.
