I had talked about this collection on the US modern forum. My description there turned out to be rather incomplete. Please read the description of the lot and see the photographs. My initial assessment was wrong as there is more in here than I had originally thought after a cursory look. So though I started the bidding at $2.50 it is already up much higher. Anyway, have a look if you are interested. ($25 shipping will be in two medium priority mail boxes.)

In the eBay description, stating "2-3000 stamps" is too vague. There should be a fairly close count as to the number of blocks AND and close estimation of the total face value. I sense the lot is under-described.

I usually do provide a much closer count when I sell albums, but I found this a little bit overwhelming. The last book to 1980 has so many odd shaped items, half-sheets etc. At least I am probably understating - it is probably closer to 3000 than 2000.
