"Beating a dead horse" is cancelled because it unfairly singles out one species along with propagating violence against animals. It is now "sternly talking to an undeclared animal species". (no microaggressions allowed!)

Cheers

To ensure no animals where harmed in the making of this thread,
I had to invest a little bit for an example.
I've spent a bit of time over the last couple days reading and examining
And we'll I'm a idiot....at this point I do believe that the stamp is on GC paper (keeping in mind only blue fibers are present and GC paper can also be brownish, greyish but also a whiteish)
I think there's a good chance it stained the paper at some point
I really didn't pay much for my example so the cost of certification seems excessive
I'm not looking to sell or anything like that.
I'm not doing this for bragging rights.
I seen something and wanted to know more and I feel I did, so I'm good and grateful and can be done with it
My question is would me spending the money to have it certified help anyone else?

So the resistance in my ID is that it wasn't recorded/issued in GC paper?

Ok where do you send it?
Thinking I have ridiculous claims I'd like to burn my money on having someone look at it professionally.
I know I know foolish -fella vs history- seems like a 0% chance I'm gonna win
Meh odds on a daily basis
Let's try!
Not just once but twice cause I have possibly another bout to pick with the books (can this guy even read :)

I know most of the time I'm hasty (thanks for putting up with it)
But I took months to make this foolish decision
I'm not taking a gamble buying a lottery ticket
I'm buying a lesson

Truth be told
I don't have the greatest confidence in this coming back anything more then damaged :(
But for some dumb reason I can't help myself wondering
I'm not very good at this...clearly
Never thought I'd get into stamps if it wasn't for covid I think I would have sold the collection if there had been a a offer
Now I'm adding to it, buying catalogues And trying to learn
Even if it cost me a little for a sorry your wrong certificate
