Most post-1940 mint nh og stamps don't even sell on
eBay for more than 60-70% of face value these days (and shipping sheets will be expensive, which people won't want to pay for if they're using the stamps for postage). Only the very few rare/collectible scott#'s after 834 sell at FV or at a premium from what I'm seeing in the current market. It is a shame and seems non-sensical, but the supply is so much greater than the demand these days, that is reality.
It is however, a very good time to build a collection of sheets or plate blocks if you are so inclined (that's my view at least) :-)
