I just acquired a large box of stamps and in the collection was a sheet of Azad Hind 12 stamps. The entire sheet has a perforation shift and the vertical perforations are in the center of the stamps. I'll try to uploads a picture.

My questions are: 1) is this common and 2) what value does this type of perforation error bring to the stamp sheet.

I'm not familiar with this type of "Cinderella" stamp and everything I learned was here on a previous post. :) Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You!

Guess.
These are reprints, and perforation errors made to suck in gullible collectors.

Suggestion
check error pins match the stamp perforation guage and size.

Thank you. I will check the perforations. It was in a box with about 10,000 other stamps all from late 1940's to 1800's.

Does anyone know how many of these stamps are supposed to be on a sheet?

Thank you all very much. I don't have a good perf gauge, but I measured 10 vertical and 10.5 horizontal perforations. There are 100 stamps in the sheet. Please let me know your thoughts.

I honestly think it is real. I wish I had recorded a video of when I opened the box it came in. Tons of amazing stamps. Nothing later than 1950. It was as if the person was collecting and either stopped or passed away in 1949. I would really appreciate someone who knows this type of Cinderella well to take a close look. I can send super high resolution images. Thank you all!

It can be, whatever you want it to be, in your mind.
That's the beauty of the hobby.
We can only offer opinions.

Philately begins where the catalogue ends, the onus is on YOU, to establish its marque.
Send it away for certification.

When you have written certified opinions from others, suggesting it is genuine, then post back here for the Wow! effect.

I think I may have seen it done twice in 20 years.

Well said. Thank you. I think it looks real, and I'll pay the have it certified. Any recommendations on which service? If it comes back as fake, it's totally worth it to know. I believe it is real, and likely valuable. The certification is essential. I have never sent a whole sheet in... Do they even do that? Any suggestions?

This is your work,
You need to go away and search for a suitable expertiser,
our opinions may not meet yours.

Google may be your friend.

Good luck in your enterprise, and I leave you with one reflection.
Using philately to chase monetry rewards, may turn out to be a folly.
Avarice is a tempting journey.

Should you find a suitable expertiser, please post back with the business contact, it may assist others in this forum seeking similar services.
Sharing knowledge here is appreciated.
