Help Identifying This Austrian Stamp Please?

I can't find any mention of this color for this denomination. Any one have a clue? My Michel and Scott only shows this in green. Is it possible for a color changeling to go from a green to bright blue like this? The cancel does look faded. Maybe it was soaked in some chemical? Sheesh - this one has me stumped! Thanks, everyone, for any help!

Most likely played with .Should be blue-green in color .

A friend gave me a link for the stamp smarter color changelings page. This must definitely be a faded green changeling. Still, a fun oddity to add to my collection.

Strange, yellow and blue make green. But this like we see it is more light blue then blue. The postal stamp is red? The peroxide will do this job?
I never find any specification of blue of those stamps. was circulated so some one took out from envelope. Some chemistry involved?

Stamp is the 50 Heller dark green. Blue is more resistant to UV light and chemical bleaching than is yellow.

I had surgery on my eyes a week ago and go in again in two weeks again . At 71 the eye specialist said stop getting kicked and punched in the head ,wife says enough is enough of the fighting each week . But I am sure my color is fine for stamp collecting . Let me know if it is affecting my eyes .

Your eyes seem to be o.k. The top stamp is dark yellow green. The bottom stamps are leaning toward dark blue green. In Michel's opinion, that are "dunkel gruen"/dark green.

Austria is one of those countries were my collection goes way beyond what the catalog says about color ,it is a never ending additions to add various shades . The shades that show up is most likely different printings and creates a massive size collection, are they all true shades ,I don't know? That is for someone to decide long after I am gone .

Floortrader, in my humble opinion, adding all those shades and nuances make a collection boatloads more interesting than a plain Jane, run of the mill one of each major catalog number collection! I personally would really enjoy looking at a collection like yours!
