I have just acquired this stamp in the hope that it was the rare #52 cancel. (Hugh Freeman, in his fantastic book, "The Barred Numerals of Victoria", 2nd ed, 2018, rates the #52 barred numeral as RRRR (4-12 copies)). It should not be confused with the #52 of Launceston. This Tasmanian cancel is common and not hard to find on Victorian stamps.

I found this image as a confirmed example and am more confident I have it right.

Good Luck with that.
I can see the 2, but the 5?

postmarks, don't you just love 'em?

The Launceston has chunky numerals and 3-3-3-3 bars.

Looks good to me 64idgaf. I suppose you've ruled out the possibility of it being a 32?

By the way, I have a 52 of Launceston on a NSW 2d DLR stamp!
