This has probably been asked and answered if you have the link handy. Have been sorting 1000s of precancels by state, town and now by type within towns.

Is/are there references for which stamps were precancelled within the towns and types?

I realize common ones occur commonly -- what are the most common Scott #'s? On this page from Lincoln NE are there 8 and 9 cent examples and so forth?

Thank you again.

Hi kaps15. Yes, there are plenty of catalogs. Go to www.precancels.com

There is a Nebraska general catalog - John L Parker 1963. I will list all known NE denominations as of that date. It should have all of the above. There is also a Bicentennial catalog which has all of them known.
