I live in the UK and getting books from Canada is VERY expensive and no dealer over here that only I know of sells Unitrade. My Canadian collecting interests in th estamps themselves are KG6 and QE2 definitives up to 2000 - No commemoratives.

I have the Unitrade 2016 in pristine condition and have seen a couple of scans from the 2021 edition. For the stamps I am interested in the pages seem identical - page layout, prices etc.

I was wondering if there were any significant differences in the KG6 and QE2 definitive issues. Is it worth getting the 2021 version.

Can any one comment?

AQ

I agree, I live in the Uk and have a 2010 version and was looking to buy a 2021 version, however the cost of postage is nearly twice as much as the book itself. Like yourself I cannot find anyone in the UK that either sells/ stocks it.

Anyone looking to buy this catalogue on a budget should look no further than the CanadaPost website and search for 342241. I just checked it out and the price is only $55.95 Cdn, and shipping to USA or international is by small packet and is Free! And with a strong Euro it is a bargain basement deal on a new 2021 catalogue delivered to your residence. You may have to wait a short while for it to arrive but may be worh it.

And I just checked out the site Peter mentioned above and saw their add. It is a bit misleading as it probably is just a cut and paste from previous years adds, as the new 2021 catalogue does not contain the postal stationary section. That has been previously removed, as it is covered in Webbs postal stationary catalogue.

Now where can I get a recent specialised catalogue of St. Pierre & Miquelon at a good price?

Hi Anthraquinone,

If you collect the base stamp, then it may not be worth purchasing the catalogue. But if you want to collect the various subtypes - shades, fluorescence, perfs etc., you would find that there have been many additional entries since 2010, particularly in the Elizabethan definitives.

Received my 2021 Unitrade recently. A quick check of the KGVI section against the 2018 edition revealed a few pricing differences, but nothing otherwise. Hope that helps.

Thank you for that info. It is much as I suspected. I seem to remember what I got the 2016 version it was not that much different to my previous one ? 2012 ?.

AS the Unitrade listed values for these issues do not bear much relation to auction prices and I do not collect past about 1990 I think I will stick with what I have.

Rfw125, WOW, that was a quick trip across the pond. Must have been in with mail last on and first off. Sometimes I wait 8 to 9 days for parcels from within Canada. Hats off to postal workers for a job well done.
