Shout out to all the Stampage going on. We started about a year ago by purchasing a decent size collection at a flea market. Found out the seller did not know the value, and BOOM, Our living room is packed full of boxes of stamps!!!

I'd love to rummage through that lot. Not sure where the market value is, but looks like an interesting hoard.

EasternFinds,

Wow, what a great start into out hobby. What stamps on cover do you find?

Collecting for the enjoyment of collecting, whatever that might be, is the name of the game. Don't hesitate to ask questions especially if you need basic information and especially more advanced sources of information for any possible topic. You should be able to find folks on this board a little further along on their collecting journey glad to share experiences.

Wow, that's something for the holidays!
Quite some work ahead ...

If you find any perfins (stamps with holes in it forming initials, symbols), sort them out.
Conservative collectors don't want them, but perfin fans maybe will pay more for those stamps than you think. ;-)

There is bound to be some treasure in there somewhere - good luck and fun hunting for it.
