Going through the collection I just picked up, I don't find either one of these in the Wrisley State Catalog:

The Tennessee stamp is similar to L30 but surcharged 25 cents.

The New York stamp is similar to PL1 but with 3mm high serial number.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The NY stamp is PL1a as per Eric Jackson Revenue Stamps. Didn't see the Tennessee stamp there.

The NY stamp is a pretty good one, retail about $100.

Jim,

Ok. I see it now. Eric's is Plate Position Letter A. What confused me is the Wrisley listing for PL1a saying Plate Position Letter B. I think it should have said A-E like on PL1.
