Canada Post issued their annual "flower" stamps today (March 1, 2021) - the usual souvenir sheet, booklet and coil, each with two designs. A variety (looks like a green worm) has been reported on one of the coil designs. One roll out of 10 appears to have this, on the second stamp to the left of the gutter (five varieties per roll of 50). This has been seen on a roll in central Canada and also in western Canada - looking for confirmation of it in eastern Canada.

Pollux:
My two souvenir sheets also had that 'pink worm' and I meant to report it as well.
Thanks for sharing yours.
Anybody have a souvenir sheet without the variety? |

Got to see some souvenir sheets today. Only 1 office out of 6 had any, and only 6 sheets at that. None had the pink worm variety. They had one box of coils and yes, one roll contained it, so definately appears a consistant variety with the green worm on the white flower blossom. |

I picked up a couple of the Crabapple Blossoms SS at the local PO and found both had pink scratch above the d Another excellent printing job by Canadian Bank Note. Canada now has 3 top-notch security printers, Lowe-Martin, Colour Innovations and CBN. |

Pollux, your numbering positions are correct. Sorry for the incorrect info I previously posted above, and it is too late to change post now. Unfortunately, I counted from the first stamp off the top of roll and realising now that I should have counted from the first one stuck down on the roll, and used the position numbering on the backing paper. Lesson learned. |

By studying a complete box of 10 rolls, I've been able to determine the particular roll the 'green worm' variety is from - Coil roll #3 on the 10-wide printing roll.
Rolls 8-10 have a couple of interesting tag anamolies. Depending on printing dates, these tag varieties could also appear on the current "From Far and Wide" coil definitives.
Re: souvenir sheet variety Every post office I have visited in the last couple of weeks did not receive any souvenir sheets. It appears that these are no longer an 'automatic distribution' to outlets, but rather, need to be specifically ordered by the outlet. |

Continuing on since Robin mentioned these. Did find these today. This same tag varitiy repeats at all same 10 positions for this prticular roll of 50. Position 5,15, etc. has quite a curvy wandering inside tag line on 3 sides, the inscription is tagged, there are extra rectangular tag blocks, and other visable tag oddities. Mike |
