Hello From Sri Lanka (Ceylon)

Hello Everyone!
Thank you for letting me join your online stamp community.

I'm Aksam, a 36 year stamp lover from Colombo, Sri Lanka. I was an avid stamp collector during my teens in 1990s, but haven't done much since then due to work and life. Recently, I introduced my stepsons (aged 7 and 10) to the hobby and they've taken it to heart and plunged me into the hobby again. Now I enjoy helping them grow their stamp collection.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all :)

Wonderful to see young folks interested in our hobby. Many of us also started in our youth. It is a hobby for a lifetime.

Collecting for the enjoyment of collecting, whatever that might be, is the name of the game. Don't hesitate to ask questions especially if you need basic information and especially more advanced sources of information for any possible topic. You should be able to find folks on this board a little further along on their collecting journey glad to share experiences. Russ
