I (and others) really like the National Parks poster stamps. I have none at the moment, but if someone has some to show, I wouldn't complain. I've only seen a couple dozen or so. I do have a poster supposedly showing some but either they are made-up versions or there were multiple versions of the originals. Here's one that's not mine found online but I remember the design: Like the bobsled stamps, there were different typefaces used on each but all were in multicolor. Do you or anyone else have details about these? |

The Canadian Field Guide, Bird Bear Press, In my humble opinion leads the world in Cinderella Cataloguing. Creating one for the US would be Herculean. It will happen one day, I'd warrant. |

The top stamp includes the "flying A" logo. Flying A gas stations were common in the eastern US in the fifties. I would assume it was some kind of promotional stamp. Flying A was a Tidewater Petroleum brand. Tidewater was eventually sold and the brand disappeared. My dad was a faithful customer in the 1950s. |

Quote: Across the West Pacific service stations became "Associated Flying A" while stations in the East became "Tydol Flying A". Eventually, the Tydol and Associated brands faded and simply became "Flying A" 1986 There was a "Flying A" Petroleum Co, formed in Canada |

A lot of these are really cool. I keep wanting to print some Cinderellas but my graphic design skills/tools are not very great. |
