On September 18, 1985 New Zealand issued this set of three "Silent Night, Holy Night" Christmas stamps (SG #s 1376-8) designed by Eileen Mayo and printed by Joh. Enschede en Zonen, Haarlem, Netherlands.

Two of the four stamps of the Federal Republic of Germany's April 6, 1976 youth services charity set depict three people. The 30 + 15 (pf) value (Mi #882) shows young men's basketball, and the 70 + 35 stamp (Mi #885) depicts young women's volleyball.

These stamps are of the same style and format as the 1976 Berlin youth services charity set shown on page 7 of this thread. They were both designed by Heinz Schillinger (1929-2008) who designed many stamps for the BRD and Berlin from 1964-2005, particularly from the 70's through the 90's. Schillinger was a graphic designer who also taught at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg. His photo is courtesy of wikimedia.

On August 16, 1990 Singapore issued a set of four stamps designed by Chua Ban Har and offset-printed by Harrison & Sons, Ltd. in London to commemorate the country's 25th anniversary of independence. The 15c value (SG #637) depicts three armed services personnel, three ships and three jet fighters.

This April 5, 1983 20c stamp (Sc #2037) of the USA commemorates the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Civilian Conservation Corps (C.C.C.).

From the USPS, "On April 5, 1933, President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed Executive Order 6101 which created the Civilian Conservation Corps...At the height of the Depression, the C.C.C.'s mission was to employ thousands of young men to develop and conserve our country's deteriorating natural resources."

Here are two stamps from the USA's July 14, 1993 five-pane booklet of 29c "Broadway Musicals" stamps. The panes are identical, vertically se-tenant strips of 4 different designs. Two of the stamps show 3 characters from the musical plays. Top stamp (Sc #2767) depicts a scene from Jerome Kern's (1885-1945) "Showboat' (1927). Bottom stamp (Sc #2768) shows a scene from George Gershwin's (1898-1937) folk opera "Porgy & Bess" (1935).

"Philiki Etaireia" (or "Filiki Eteria") was a secret society whose purpose was to prepare the Greek War of Independence.
A previous issue celebrated the 150th anniversary of that society
Painting : "the oath" by Greek artist Dionysios Tsokos (1820-1862)

This April 24, 1992, 29c stamp (Sc #2622) of the USA is inscribed "Approaching Land." It is one of a set of four "First Voyage of Christopher Columbus" designs, arranged in se-tenant block fashion, from a pane of forty (5 x 8). Stamps commemorate the 500th anniversary of Columbus's first crossing of the Atlantic Ocean.
