I currently have 12 Scott International albums using their printed pages from a number of years ago. I quickly found that I needed more complete pages, and acquired the Steiner software to "print my own".
I did try some Scott International blank pages. They have printed borders and so does Steiner, and they conflict with each other.
The only other acid free paper I could find was 67 lb manila 8 1/2 x 11 "card" paper. The color is fairly close, and the pages are a bit small (Scott is 9 1/4 x 11 1/4 inch), but I could live with that. But the real difficulty has proven to be the weight. It isn't pliable and of course is thicker and heavier than the other pages.
I guess a 40 lb or the like would be preferable, but I can't locate anything suitable.
Do you all have any suggestions?
Thank you!

Hi Mobilman. I would go and see a local printer. Take a sample Scott page with you. They might at least give you some suggestions,

What file format are the Steiner pages? If you have the full version of Acrobat, you could just delete the Steiner-supplied borders so when printed onto the Scott pages, it looks seamless. |

Steiner pages are PDF format. Which means you can edit them using Powerpoint or LibreOffice Draw. It is a trivial matter of importing and then deleting the border on the master slide, replacing it with no border (in this instance) or one of your own choosing.

At 25c a page, this website which I've used many times will print whatever International-sized pages with Steiner layouts you want. They're very similar in color to Scott pages and will be hole-punched to fit the Scott International albums. They can also supply all-blank (no border) pages to fit that album. http://www.albumpages.net |

I'd second the talk to a local printer suggestion & support a local business too. I use one for all kinds of specific needs, he's very knowledgeable, and open to custom jobs with small runs (and at very reasonable prices). |

Thank you for all your replies! Living here in suburbia, the only printers I know about are the folks at the office supply stores. I've asked, and all they have is the heavy paper I already use. Given I want to print several hundred Steiner pages, going in to remove the border from each is more than I care to do - and to be frank, it is likely over my head. I did contact the folks at Albumpages.net, and am awaiting their reply. It appears like they may be able to help me out. Thank you all! |

Thank you once again,
I've got 2 viable sources - one being the "albumpage" folks mentioned earlier and Subway Stamp - which does carry fully blank pages.
Not sure which way I'll go, but both will work! |

The advantage of LibreOffice Draw over Powerpoint is that you can change the page size without affecting the page contents. In Powerpoint if you want to change from Letter to a larger page size, PowerPoint scales the contents. |
