Does anybody know why Rotary Press stamps seem to have shiny metallic fragments imbedded all over the stamps surface. Are they steel fragments or Aluminum, tin? I think they might be aluminum because there doesn't appear to be any oxidation taking place them

any help would be greatly appreciated

This is common enough in paper with recycled content, although this sounds like there are more particles than what's usually found there. Picture, please.
